Supported Employment Advocacy Project

Employers, in their own words.

DAS sits down with employers who already hire people with disability — McDonald’s first — and captures why they do it, how it works, and the advice they’d give other businesses. The point is evidence and voice, not charity: concrete numbers, real stories and honest myth-busting that help the next employer say yes.

What this section is — and isn’t.

A home for the employer best-practice interviews. People with disability are the experts in their own lives; this work gathers the employer side of the story so DAS can make the business case to the next sceptical manager or franchisee.

It is not client casework — no participant records live here. It’s an advocacy evidence base: who we’ve spoken to, what good looks like, and the material we can hand to other businesses.
