PATH Leadership Group · Session 8 · Facilitators only
The pretend meeting — run-card.
Your run-of-show for the “Good chair or not?” game. Mandy chairs and only ever chairs well. Metia & Lukas play the bad behaviour — ham it up, that’s the fun. The room votes with their traffic-light cards after each moment; you reveal the answer on slide 12. Work the four agenda items, ~6–7 minutes.
GREEN = good chairing RED = not right (and RED = STOP / freeze the meeting)
Agenda 1 · Welcome
“Hello everyone, thanks for coming. Today we sort out a few things for our PATH Plan day.” Mandy
GOOD welcomes + says the purpose
Agenda 2 · Lunch on PATH Plan day
“First up, lunch — what food does everyone want on the day?” Mandy
GOOD one thing at a time
Talks over the top of Metia mid-sentence. Lukas
NOT GOOD talking over
“Hang on — let’s let Metia finish.” Mandy
GOOD protects the speaker
Pulls out phone, scrolls while someone is talking. Metia
NOT GOOD not listening
Agenda 3 · Cohort photo
“What do you think, [name]? We haven’t heard from you yet.” Mandy
GOOD brings the quiet person in
“This is boring, can we hurry up.” Lukas
NOT GOOD rude / puts people down
Holds up RED to freeze it when it goes off track. Metia / a participant
GOOD speaking up — the freeze power
“Let’s all vote — hands up if you want a photo.” Mandy
GOOD decides together, not alone
Agenda 4 · Celebrate the end
“Two minutes left, let’s finish this last one.” (optional) Mandy
GOOD keeps to time
“Thanks everyone, good meeting. See you on your PATH Plan day.” Mandy
GOOD finishes on time + says thanks
If Mandy would rather not chair: Metia chairs (well), Lukas + a participant play the bad beats. No fuss. · Rehearse this once out loud before the day so the good/bad moments are clear, not accidental. · Then it’s the room’s turn (slide 13) — green cards only on a participant.
