PATH Leadership Group · Easy Read
Green. Yellow. Red.
A way to say yes, no, or unsure — without using words.
GREEN
Yes. I agree. Keep going.
YELLOW
I am not sure. Slow down. Ask me again.
RED
No. Stop. I do not agree.
When do I use them?
G
Hold up GREEN
If you want to say yes — to a question, to an idea, to keep going.
Y
Hold up YELLOW
If you are not sure — you want more time, or to slow down.
R
Hold up RED
If you want to say no — you do not agree, or you want to stop.
You don't have to explain why.
The card is enough. No questions asked.
When do facilitators use them?
We will use the cards in check-ins.
"Are we OK to keep going?" or "Was the break long enough?" If anyone holds up red — we stop and ask. No judgement.
